The initiative

Launched in late 2023 by the André Losch Foundation, the Up to Youth initiative enables young people to engage in philanthropy and make decisions for the future of other young people.
Following a call for applications, the Foundation formed a team of
10 young people aged between 18 and 30, living in Luxembourg.
The team has a budget of 300 000€ to allocate to organizations developing projects for young people in Luxembourg.

Acting as a board of directors, the young people benefited from a philanthropy awareness workshop, following which they defined their framework of action for the call for projects, including :
- themes to support
- average budget
- project duration
- project selection criteria
One the call for projects has concluded, they will meet to select the projects they would like to fund
